Phoenix has many wonderful Historic Districts containing over 7,000 homes. Some of these homes have even been listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The following are a list of the areas, their period of architectural significance and the approximate location.

Alvarado - 1907-1933
Borders are Monte Vista Rd. and Alvarado Rd., Oak St., 3rd St., to Palm Lane

Ashland Place - 1920 -1931
Between Oak St., Vernon Ave., Central Ave., to 3rd St.

Cheery Lane – 1928 – 1945
Borders are Flower Street. Earll Drive., 16th Street and Randolph Road.

Coronado – 1907 – 1930
Borders are McDowell Road., 7th Street., Virginia Avenue. and 14th Street.

Country Club Park – 1939 – 1946
Borders are Thomas Roadd., Virginia Avenue., Dayton Street., and 7th Street.

Del Norte Place – 1927 – 1945
Borders are Virginia Avenue., Encanto Boulevard., 15th Avenue. and 17th Avenue.

Diamond Street – 1938 - 1942
Diamond Street between 14th and 16th Street.

East Alvarado – 1929 – 1942
Alvarado Road., west of 7th Street to 3rd Street

East Evergreen – 1909-1929
Borders are McDowell Road., Willetta Street, 3rd Street and 7th Street.

Encanto-Palmcroft – 1920 -1939
Borders are 7th Street, McDowell Road, 15th Avenue and Thomas Road

Fairview Place – 1928 - 1948
Borders are McDowell Road, Encanto Boulevard, 15th Avenue and 17th Avenue

F.Q. Story – 1921 1938
Borders are 7th Avenue, 17th Avenue, McDowell Road and Roosevelt Road

Idylwilde Park – 1928 – 1941
Borders are 11th Street, 12th Street, Weldon Avenue and Fairmount Avenue

Margarita Place – 1927 – 1949
Borders are 15th Avenue, 16th Avenue, Thomas Road and Windsor Road

Oakland – 1910 – 1935
Borders are Filmore Street, 19th Avenue, Grand Avenue and Polk Street

Roosevelt – 1895 – 1930
Borders are McDowell Road, Fillmore Street, Central Avenue and 7th Avenue

Victoria Place – 1910 – 1930
McKinley Street between 7th and 9th Street

Villa Verde – 1928 - 1940
Borders are 19th Avenue, 20th Avenue, Granada Road and Monte Vista Road

Willo – 1910 – 1942
Borders are 1st Avenue, 7th Avenue, McDowell Road and Edgemont Avenue

Windsor Square – 1912 – 1945
Borders are Georgia Avenue, Camelback Road, 7th Street and Central Avenue

Woodland – 1910 – 1935
Borders are Van Buren Street, Adams Street, 9th Avenue and 15th Avenue

Woodlea – 1928 – 1949
Borders are 15th Avenue, 7th Avenue, Glenrosa Avenue and Mackenzie Street

Yaple Park – 1928 - 1940
Borders are Turney Avenue, Grand Canal, 3rd Avenue and 7th Avenue
